General Travel Policies

MINORS TRAVELING ALONE:
Persons 15 years of age or younger may not travel unless accompanied by an adult. 

LUGGAGE
Passengers are fully responsible for the correct identification and retrieval of their luggage. Please tag all luggage prior to boarding the shuttle. Each passenger is allowed two standard pieces of luggage (under 50 lbs each and measuring less than 70" L+W+H each), plus a small carry-on. 

OVERSIZE LUGGAGE
If you are traveling with skis, snowboards, golf clubs or gun cases, inform our Reservationist when you make your Reservation. The oversize items listed above will be accepted as standard items. All other oversize items are at the discretion of the driver. Each item over the limit of two standard and one carry-on item is subject to a $5.00 one-way fee.  

EXCLUDED ITEMS
Bicycles and Pets are not allowed. Additional items may be added to the Excluded list by AVS without prior notice.

BAGGAGE LIABILITY
As provided by the laws of the State of Alaska, unless a higher value is declared for a particular item of luggage prior to transportation and agreed to in writing by Airport-Valley Shuttle LLC, property damage liability will be limited to $25.00 for boxes and parcels, $200.00 for trunks and $50.00 for suitcases, valises and other items.  Additional valuation will be charged at $0.50 per $100.00 or fraction thereof.  

CELL PHONES
We request that cell phone use be limited to short and quiet conversations. 

SHUTTLE DELAYS
Airport-Valley Shuttle, LLC is not responsible for late arrivals at stops on our route nor for run cancellations due to weather, traffic congestion, road closures, mechanical problems, or any other unforeseen delay. 

When a delay is known to exist we will make every effort to contact our confirmed passengers in order to either depart earlier, or help make other arrangements. We cannot be held responsible for the consequences of late flight arrivals.
